The event is part of the activities to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
The event runs until August 30, with five sports, including football, tennis, golf, badminton, and table-tennis. The activities aim create connection between Vietnamese businesses, embassies and representative offices in Cambodia, and contribute to promoting the physical training and sports movement in the Vietnamese community.
The sports event attracted hundreds of athletes from Vietnam's leading enterprises in Cambodia, such as Metfone, BIDC, Sacombank and OpenNet.
Within the framework of the football event, eight teams are divided into two tables to compete in a round-robin tournament. In the first match, the Metfone team overcame Sacombank with a score of 8-1; BIDC lost to Farax 1-5. Meanwhile, KTV99 team won against OpenNet with a score of 5-1 and the Embassy team lost to New City 1-4.
