Meanwhile, the title for the women's singles went to Tran Thuy Thanh Truc from Hung Thinh - Ho Chi Minh City.
Hung Thinh - Ho Chi Minh City also had impressive achievements during the tournament, with two championships in the women's doubles and the mix doubles events.
The National Tennis Championship-Hanaka Cup 2021 were held in the northern province of Bac Ninh from December 13-19.
The tournament brought together 78 players from 11 teams, made up of clubs, sectors and provinces across the country including Hanoi, Son La, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Dang Tay Ninh and Hung Thinh Club from Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong Clean Water, and the People’s Public Security, among others.
According to Trinh Huu Hung, director of Bac Ninh province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, head of the organising committee, the tournament was an opportunity to review the preparation for tennis competitions at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) to be held in May 2022 in Bac Ninh.
