Allegri to leave Juventus after five years of domestic success

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is leaving after five seasons in which they dominated Serie A, the Italian club said on Friday (May 17). His departure could open the way for the return of Antonio Conte, who left Juventus in 2014 to take charge of the Italian national side.

* Olympique Lyonnais have agreed a deal to appoint Sylvinho as their next head coach, according to media reports in France. The former Barcelona and Arsenal player was named Brazil's Under-23 team coach for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in April.

* World number 11 John Isner on Friday (May 17) withdrew from the French Open, the season's second Grand Slam tournament, with a foot injury. The 34-year-old said he had not recovered from the injury he suffered at the Miami Masters in March where he finished runner-up to Roger Federer.
