The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) officially announced the sales on Thursday morning (Oct. 10), as the national squad are preparing to play their first Group G match at home in the Asian second qualifying round for the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Malaysia tonight.

According to the schedule, Park and his players will host three remaining matches at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium against the UAE and Thailand next month (on November 14 and 19), as well as Indonesia on June 4 next year.

In its statement, VFF said that in order to serve fans to enjoy the matches of the national team, the agency will put tickets on sales for the Vietnam-UAE clash on October 12, the Vietnam-Thailand match on October 13 and October 14 is for the Vietnam-Indonesia game.

Similar to the Vietnam - Malaysia match, fans can book tickets for all the three matches via the Internet at four par values, including VND200,000, VND300,000, VND400,000 and VND500,000. Each fan (corresponding to one ID number/citizen identity card) can only buy two tickets with the same face value, instead of four like the Vietnam - Malaysia match.

The reduction is expected to help more fans have access to tickets for home matches of Park’s side, as tickets for the Vietnam - Malaysia match were sold out after just only a few minutes since the sale opened on September 19.

VFF and its partners will open ticket on sales online in three phases in each day – 10am, 3pm and 10pm. Fans need to download the VinID app (with a bank account linked) then follow the instructions on the app to purchase tickets.

Customers who successfully purchase tickets on the app will receive printed tickets via postal service. For the Vietnam-Indonesia match, tickets will be delivered in the second quarter of 2020.
