The Vietnam-Thailand match is the most anticipated clash in Group B at the 30th SEA Games.

Accordingly, as of 3pm on Friday, tickets for the clash, scheduled on December 5 at Laguna’s Binan Football Stadium, were no longer available on the SMtickets.com ticket distribution system.

With tickets offered at cheap prices, ranging between VND22,000 and VND205,000, many supporters bought hundreds of tickets per turn.

Many chose to directly purchase tickets in SM Tickets outlets and made on-site payments. Another way was to book tickets online when they went on sale on November 21 evening. Then, the purchasers brought their bills to SM Tickets outlets to take the tickets.

Vietnam U22s will play five matches in the group stage, but their clash against archrivals Thailand still remains the most anticipated. Therefore, it came as little surprise as all the 3,330 tickets for the match quickly sold out.

The Vietnam-Thailand game will be played on artificial turf at Laguna’s Binan Football Stadium. As the stadium only accommodates 2,580 seats, the organising committee has to install an additional 750 chairs to serve fans’ demand.
