With the aforementioned impressive results, Kiatisuk’s side have surpassed other heavyweights to win the “Best Club” prize for January and March. Alongside the collective title, HAGL have also dominated the individual categories.

HAGL forward Nguyen Van Toan convincingly claimed the “Best Player” prize for January and March. Since the beginning of the season, Van Toan has always been listed in HAGL’s starting squad for all matches. The Hai Duong-born striker scored three goals and served up many assists, contributing significantly to HAGL’s ongoing fantastic journey.
The ”Best Goal” prize went to forward Phan Van Duc of Song Lam Nghe An FC. Van Duc’s brace, including a “superb strike” from outside the penalty box, helped Ngo Quang Truong’s side earn a 2-1 victory against SHB Da Nang in their Round 5 trip to Hoa Xuan Stadium.
V.League 1-2021 will continue today (April 7) with three Round 8 matches, including Quang Ninh Coal vs Saigon FC, Hong Linh Ha Tinh vs Topenland Binh Dinh, and Hanoi FC vs Viettel FC.
