Vkfrontier and the Tan Van Dai Investment and Trade Company are the main sponsors for the delegation.

The Vietnamese delegation of 11 athletes with disabilities will participate in the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021 across three sports including athletics (three athletes), swimming (four athletes) and weightlifting (four athletes).

The athletes will officially go to the Paralympic Games from August 18. They have been in training since the beginning of 2020 to prepare for this key sporting event.

The Vietnamese delegation previously competed at the Brazil Paralympics in 2016 in three sports including weightlifting, athletics and swimming. They won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

The sponsorship will assist the athletes as the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world and also in Vietnam continue, acting as a source of great encouragement to the Paralympics delegation in particular and to the sports movement in general.
