Coach Park Hang-seo let the group of players who had played for the majority or entirety of the previous clash against Indonesia walk around the field to relax their muscles.

The other group had a fairly high exercise volume to release inertia as well as forge more tactical pieces, ensuring that they will be in a state of readiness to play if selected by the coaching staff for the upcoming game.

Defender Doan Van Hau (L) has freshly recovered from injury and came off the bench only in the last few minutes of the Indonesia match.

Midfielder Nguyen Tuan Anh and forward Nguyen Van Toan, who both suffered injuries in the Indonesia game, also returned to the training ground and walked with the team.

According to initial assessment, Tuan Anh and Van Toan fortunately did not suffer any bone damage, so it will not take long for them to return to normal training.

Today (June 9), all members of the Vietnamese team will be sampled for RT-PCR tests to prevent COVID-19. This has been made mandatory for teams by the AFC before each match in the World Cup Asian qualifiers.

Park Hang-seo’s troops will play their seventh Group G match against Malaysia at Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai, UAE on June 11.
