Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tu said he hopes the Korean tactician will continue accompanying Vietnam’s football teams and help them gain new successes at the qualification rounds of the AFC U-23 Championship 2020, World Cup 2022, and SEA Games 2019.

Park said he planned a trip to Cambodia to follow the U-22 Southeast Asian Championship from February 17-26 with the participation of the U-22 Vietnam football team.

His purpose is to seek new talented footballers to play for the U-23 team in the AFC U-23 Championship 2020 qualification round.

Park Hang-seo has become a hero of Vietnamese football after leading the U-23 team to the finale of the AFC U-23 Championship 2018 in China.

He also led the national football team to win the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 and most recently progress to the quarterfinals of the AFC Asian Cup 2019.
