She made the statement on December 4 at a meeting with a delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand led by Vietnamese Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh.
Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh and Angkana Chitatitta discussed the political-foreign relations as well as the economic, trade, and investment situations of the two countries and the cooperation between localities in recent times.
The Ambassador suggested that Saraburi Province continue to support and create more favourable conditions for the Vietnamese Thai community living in the province, and stated that the Vietnamese Embassy is ready to work with the province to promote cooperation with Vietnamese localities.
Deputy Governor Angkana Chitatitta said that Saraburi province is the gateway to the central region of Thailand, with strengths in the fields of construction, industry, and milk production. The province is ready to send business delegations to Vietnam to learn about the investment environment, especially cooperation opportunities in the field of industry, construction and culture. The province will always support and create favourable conditions for the Thai Vietnamese community living and working in the province, she noted.

After the meeting with the Deputy Governor of Saraburi Province, the delegation visited a cement factory of SCG Group in the province to connect cooperation between the parties in the future.
Previously, Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh and Angkana Chitattita attended the inauguration ceremony for the first cemetery for Vietnamese people in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces.
