Ha Long City reopens public beaches

The People’s Committee of Ha Long City in Quang Ninh Province has announced the opening of public beaches in the city from noon on September 19.

According to a document promulgated on September 18, the city’s authorities have also allowed the reopening of sport clubs, gyms, billiards, yoga and fitness facilities, and the organisation of activities in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

People are requested to follow COVID-19 prevention and control measures, particularly the Ministry of Health’s 5K message of khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declarations).

People’s Committees of communes and wards in the city are asked to increase inspection of the implementation of pandemic prevention and control measures in order to detect and handle any violations.

Ha Long City has covered 90% of its population aged 18 and above with at least one vaccine shot against COVID-19 as of September 18.
