Quang Nam provincial authorities have made a plan for the reopening of tourism. Accordingly, the reception of tourists to the locality are divided into four stages.

Tourism activities will be associated with the COVID-19 prevention and control measures to prepare for the upcoming occasions including Christmas, New Year, and Lunar New Year.\

The next phases will take place in early December and January 2022. The local destinations and services will be opened to visitors from all provinces and cities around the country and will be ready to welcome international travellers when conditions permit.

Visitors to Quang Nam must strictly comply with 5K principles; scan QR codes at tourist attractions and tourism services; and remain at the accommodation in green, yellow and orange level areas.

At the conference, the delegates noted that the localities should improve the quality of tourism products’ quality; develop new products; and promote stimulus and promotion programmes. In addition, it is crucial to enhance linkages between tourism agencies and businesses; focus on human resource training; and accelerate digital transformation in the tourism industry.

Many enterprises asked the functional agencies to create the most favourable conditions to stimulate the travel demand of visitors, with a focus on reducing unnecessary administrative procedures and requirements as well as integrating data on a platform.
