According to Deputy Director of the municipal Tourism Department Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu, the launch of the programme on the Shopee e-commerce platform aims to support travel businesses in introducing their products and services to customers on Shopee. It is part of the city’s digital transformation strategy in tourism, he added.

The programme is expected to reboot the operation and increase the revenue of small and medium-sized tourism enterprises, thus facilitating the recovery of Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry in the "new normal" state.

By participating in the programme, businesses will receive special offers including free-of-charge services and commissions for 3 months, and free training courses on digital transformation and how to increase interaction with customers on online platforms. They will also receive support in managing order status tracking on the Shopee platform.
