The collection’s design concept was inspired by the art of woodcarving of Dong Ho folk paintings. Presented mainly in the five colours of red, orange, green, blue and yellow, the collection vividly features the characteristics of each locality region across the country.

The launch of the new collection is part of a cooperation agreement between SABECO and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, which was inked on the occasion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet said that while realising the Vietnam's tourism development strategy to 2030, the ministry has also paid special attention to developing cultural tourism and safeguarding national cultural values.

He stressed that the implementation of the strategy need the participation of the private sector, particularly businesses.

He also hoped that the activities to be implemented within the framework of the cooperation between VNAT and SABECO will provide an effective source of support for the building of Vietnam’s tourism brand, thus developing the country into a safe and attractive tourist destination.

For his part, SABECO’s general director Bennett Neo shared that the ‘Ban Sac Viet’ collection was launched to welcome the year 2022 with much joy, hope and prosperity, while bringing everyone closer together.

He pledged that SABECO wants to further move ahead in a long-term partnership with the VNAT and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, to co-organise other meaningful activities that highlight the unique and charming values of Vietnamese culture and tourism.
