This was the first flight from the RoK market returning to Da Nang, which was conducted by the low-cost carrier Vietjet Air.

Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Xuan Binh noted that the RoK was the leading market of the city’s tourism for many years before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, so the recovery of this market is very important.

The visitors will enjoy many attractive destinations in Da Nang City as well as Hoi An ancient town and My Son sanctuary in the neighbouring province of Quang Nam.

On the occasion, the tourism sectors of Da Nang and Quang Nam coordinated with Vietjet Air to conduct a survey programme of destinations for more than 15 prestigious travel agencies in the RoK, as part of activities to attract Korean tourists to Da Nang and central localities.

Under the plan to restore air route between Da Nang and the RoK, Vietjet Air has carried out a plan to periodically operate 6 flights per week between Da Nang and Incheon city.
