The city Department of Tourism held a programme in Seoul on August 8, promoting the destinations throughout the city, creating an opportunity for local enterprises to gain information about market trends and connect with the RoK partners.

At the programme in Seoul, 14 leading tourism enterprises from Da Nang and the central region had a meeting with nearly 50 major travel agencies from the RoK.

Since the reopening of international air routes in March 2022, nine airlines have operated direct flights between Da Nang and major cities from the RoK including Incheon, Busan, Daegu and Muan. The total number of tourists from the RoK is estimated at 53,660.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Nguyen Vu Tung affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK will always accompany Vietnamese localities, including Da Nang, and the RoK partners in enhancing tourism cooperation between the two countries.

Da Nang will promote golf tourism to attract visitors from the RoK through various golf events from now until the end of the year, notably the Danang Golf Tourism Festival, which will take place from August 28 to September 2.
