Vietjet Air to open Hanoi–Busan route

NDO—Low-cost carrier Vietjet Air on October 17 announced the opening of new international routes connecting Hanoi with Busan in the Republic of Korea as part of its network expansion plan.

Tickets are now available for the Hanoi–Busan route with prices from just VND920,000 (US$38).

The new route will operate on a daily basis from December 16, 2016 with six return flights a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight, which lasts 4 hours and 30 minutes per leg, departs from Hanoi at 01:00 and lands in Busan at 07:00 (local time). The return flight takes off at 08:00 and lands in Hanoi at 11:05 (local time).

Tickets are being sold on VietJet Air’s official website, www.vietjetair.com, whose smartphone version is m.vietjetair.com, and www.facebook.com/vietjetairvietnam.

Payment can be easily made with debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB and American Express) and ATM cards issued by selected Vietnamese banks which have Internet banking services.

The new route aims to meet increased demand and improve trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between Hanoi and Busan.
