The website, available in English, provides essential information for foreign holiday makers who wish to travel to Vietnam, including visa application procedures, places to go, things to do across the nation, and cultural events and festivals that take place around the year.

It also provides information on the 18 most-visited tourist destinations in Vietnam, as well as 360 degree virtual tours of UNESCO-recognised heritages in the country.

On the occasion, the VNAT unveiled the annual 2017 Vietnam Tourism Report, which announced data and information recorded by the hospitality sector, including the number of visitors, the total revenue from tourist activities, and the sector’s economic contribution to the national economy.

The document also updated the available policies in tourism, as well as Vietnam’s achievements in promoting tourism and fostering international cooperation in tourism.
