Vietjet to launch ticket sales for new route

The low-cost carrier Vietjet will officially open ticket sales for its new international route connecting Hanoi and Tokyo (Narita, Japan) from August 22.

The new route is expected to open from January 11, 2019, with flight times of more than five hours per leg. Flights will depart from Hanoi at 0:55 am and arrive at Tokyo at 08:00 am (local time). The return flights will take off at 09:30 am from Tokyo (local time) and land in Hanoi at 2:00pm.

The new route is the carrier’s third to Japan, along with the two other routes connecting Hanoi to Osaka and Ho Chi Minh City to Osaka, in order to meet the travel and trading demands between the two countries.

To celebrate the opening of its new route, Vietjet are offering three golden days from August 22 to August 24, with 2.5 million tickets priced only from VND0 (excluding tax and other additional fees) on website www.vietjetair.com.

The promotional tickets are applied on all domestic and international routes to Tokyo, Osaka (Japan)/ Seoul, Busan, Daegu (South Korea)/ Hong Kong/ Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan)/ Singapore/ Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai (Thailand)/ Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)/ Yangon (Myanmar)/ Phnom Penh, Siem Reap (Cambodia) with flight period from September 5, 2018 to June 30, 2019 (excluding national holidays). The Hanoi – Osaka (Japan) route will begin flights from November 8, 2018, the Ho Chi Minh City – Osaka route from December 14, 2018 and the Hanoi – Tokyo route from January 11, 2019.

The promotional tickets are available via sales channels during Vietjet’s golden hours from 12:00 to 14:00 (GMT+7) everyday on www.vietjetair.com (also compatible with smartphones at https://m.vietjetair.com) or www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam (just click the “Booking” tab). Payment can be easily made with international debit and credit cards, including Visa/ MasterCard/ AMEX/ JCB/ KCP/Union; or with any ATM card issued by 34 Vietnamese banks and registered with internet banking.
