NDO – The Vietnam Maritime Administration has officially issued a document to direct the Quang Ninh Port Authority to allow passenger vessels to operate at the Hon Gai International Passenger Terminal, in Quang Ninh province.

The Port Authority of Vietnam also requested the port operator, Ha Long Sun Co., Ltd., to coordinate with consultancy and specialised agencies to choose suitable vessels to operate at the port an ensure the stability and safety of the port and boarding ships.

The Hon Gai Passenger Terminal, invested in by Sun Group, in the form of a public-private partnership, is equipped with modern technologies and is capable of welcoming the most luxurious cruise ships in the world. It is capable of receiving two large passenger ships of up to 225,000 GT, carrying up to 6,500 passengers each, at once.
