Ha Long launches first-ever double decker bus tour service

The first-ever double decker bus city tour service was launched in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province on June 18 by the Vietnam Tourism Hanoi JSC.

Each bus can accommodate 63 people, of which the top deck contains 45 seats. It will have areas for elderly people, people with disabilities and children.

The bus is equipped with modern technology such as GPS, an automatic transmission system, and Euro4 emission standard. It also offers free wifi, USB charging ports, a refrigerator, monitor and a surveillance camera system for passengers safety.

An automatic multilingual narration system is available for passengers in seven different languages, including Vietnamese, English, Chinese, French, , Korean, Japanese, and Spanish.

The city tour will wind its way through nine tourist attractions in Ha Long, departing from the Sunworld Complex to pass through the Ha Long Market; Ben Ca wharf; Quang Ninh Museum and Library; Ha Long Flower Park; Tuan Chau Park; and Royal Lotus Hotel before stopping at Vinpearl Ha Long Resort.

The tour operates from 9am to 6pm daily for 60 minutes each tour.

There are four different rates for the tour, starting at VND179,000 for a ticket valid for two hours, VND219,000 for five hours, VND249,000 for 10 hours VND299,000 for 24 hours.

On the occasion of the launching, passengers will enjoy a ‘Buy 1 Get 1 free’ ticket programme on June 19-20, and a 20% discount on ticket prices from June 21-23.
