The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) and Vietnam Airlines, as well as over 40 leading businesses, participated in the event.

A wide variety of practical activities were held, including an exhibition on destinations in the city, a ‘Happy Hour’ programme at Vietnam’s pavilions, and meetings with partners.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, Europe is one of the most important and stable markets of Vietnam's tourism sector in general and of the City in particular. The UK stood the second in Europe and the 11th among international markets with the highest number of visitors to Vietnam’s major city.

Therefore, the major international events have become opportunities for Vietnamese travel agencies and enterprises to introduce their products and services as well as to meet, exchange and seek more partners.
