Accordingly, the province will offer free entrance without fees for visitors both at home and abroad to Ha Long Bay (day-tour only), the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum, and Yen Tu Relic Site for the rest of May.

Free tickets are also available for major celebrations in 2020, such as International Children’s Day (June 1), Vietnamese Family’s Day (June 28), Vietnam’s Tourism Day (July 9), and the August Revolution (August 19).

On normal days in June and July, visitors can enjoy a “buy two, get one free” discount on tickets to the sites.

In addition, from May 15 to the end of this year, tourists entering the province via Van Don International Airport will be offered free two-way bus tickets between the airport and Ha Long City centre.

The adoption of the support package is a timely move to lure more visitors to Quang Ninh Province and improve the incomes of locals and those working in the hospitality sector following COVID-19 pandemic, while contributing to realising the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s programme on ‘Vietnamese people travel Vietnam”.
