Quang Ninh to hold various tourism stimulus events on National Reunification Day

Quang Ninh province is organising a string of cultural, art and culinary events in order to boost local tourism on Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).

The series of cultural and street festivals will be held during the four-day holiday at the end of this month. The highlight of the events will be a street parade and firework display entitled “Brightening up wonders – Spreading thesmile”.

The activities will be spread across three tourism clusters including Tuan Chau, Bai Chay and Ha Long city.

Director of an art programme to be held in Tuan Chau, Hoang Nhat Nam, said visitors should not ignore the night of May 1 as the music festival will be combined with fashion shows with beauties and famous singers such as Dam Vinh Hung, Tuan Hung, Duc Phuc, Bao Anh and others.

Ha Long authorities will conduct a fireworks display in the three locations of the Tuan Chau tourism complex on April 30, Square 30-10 and FLC eco-tourism complex in Ha Long on May 1.

A number of new and modern tourism products and services will be put into operation on this occasion including the launch of the Tuan Chau golf course with a lighting system specially for the night, the inauguration of Hon Gai public beach, the opening of the tourism site in Ba Deo hill, and others.

In addition, a series of other cultural, sports and tourismevents will be held such as the Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival, painting and photo exhibitions, literary creation camps, kite flying competition, circus performances, street music, and others.

Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Son said the events will be the beginning of a summer tourism season this year also expected to boost tourism demand in Ha Long as the pandemic is now under control.
