First cultivated more than 100 years ago, the field is one of the oldest and most beautiful terraced fields in Sapa. It was named among the most beautiful and grandiose terraced fields in Asia and the world in 2009 by Travel and Leisure, a US lifestyle magazine.

VietKings also named the O Quy Ho mountain pass as Vietnam’s longest. Spanning over the Hoang Lien Son mountain range to connect Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces, the pass is 50 kilometres long and sits more than 2,000 metres above sea level. It was ranked among the 10 most beautiful places to visit in Vietnam by the UK-based Global Grasshopper travel blog.

Vietkings will present certificates of the records to provincial authorities on November 2.
