Da Nang: Cultural and tourism events attract visitors during Tet

Da Nang city has organised many cultural and tourism events to attract visitors during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

The Bach Dang Flower Road, with the theme ‘Muon Sac Hoa Xuan’ (Colorful Spring Flowers), is taking place along the western bank of Han River in Da Nang City. The highlight of the event is colourful floral designs in the shape of the pig, inspired by the Year of the Pig 2019. The design will symbolise the desire for the New Year to be filled with luck, happiness and success.

Meanwhile, Sun World Danang Wonders also opened a Flower Festival on February 5. Using the image of the “golden pig” – the mascot of Year of the Pig, as the main inspiration for decorative landscapes, the space at Sun World Danang Wonders is expected to become one of Da Nang’s spring destinations during Tet holiday.

Coming to the park in the early days of the Lunar New Year, visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in many folk games.

From February 6 to 8, the Hot Springs Park also offer visitors a unique spiritual space to pray for a new year and recreate the activities of an ancient Tet to help visitors, especially children, with unique experiences. In addition, the park also hosted a series of fun games, local traditional cuisine, and folk games.

The Hot Springs Park

In order to preserve the unique traditional culture and offer interesting and meaningful experiences to tourists and local people, especially children, Da Nang Museum has organised 'Tet Market' at Da Nang Museum garden (No. 24 Tran Phu, Da Nang).

The Tet holiday market stall has featured many local products, including traditional cuisine of the Co Tu ethnic people in Quang Nam. In addition, Tourists and locals also have opportunities to enjoy folk activities and folk games.
