Voters asked for clarification on pressing issues, including violations in the construction of the building at 8B Le Truc Str.; the situation of contraband and counterfeit goods, fertilizers and pesticides; food safety and hygiene; and environmental pollution in rural areas.
They asked for better implementation of the Law on Local Authority Organisation and the Government’s decrees on policies for elderly people.
VFF President Nhan learned the ideas and expressed his gratitude to the voters’ attention and support to National Assembly deputies from Bac Giang Province over the past five years.
He spoke highly of the province’s achievements in agriculture and transport infrastructure development, creating an important basis for future development.
Bac Giang Province has made significant progress in administrative reforms, particularly the operation of the one-stop shop, competitiveness improvement and innovation in tax and custom, Nhan noted.
He said that in 2015 the VFF and the Ministry of Home Affairs organised surveys on satisfaction of people in 20 provinces and cities regarding 60 public services at communal and district levels; the surveys will be expanded to many other localities.
The VFF is building a project on examining food safety nationwide in order to ensure that no producers violate legal regulations, he added.
Nhan also stated that the country has many opportunities but also faces numerous difficulties and challenges, thus people should be united, promote creativeness and democracy to improve performance of authorities at all levels.
