Singapore, Laos, Brunei and the Philippines also round out Group A, as chosen in a random selection draw held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar on November 6.

Group B includes Thailand, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Cambodia and the hosts, Myanmar.

As the four-place finisher at the 2011 SEA Games, Vietnam is seeded fourth at this year’s event, behind top-seeded Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar.

Group stage matches are scheduled from December 1-10, with Group A matches to be played at Naypyidaw’s Zayar Thiri Stadium and Group B matches at Yangon’s YTC Stadium. The teams will play in a round robin format to determine the top two sides from each group, who then qualify for the semi-final round.
