NDO/VNA – The Lao Health Ministry has allowed COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms to self-isolate and treat at home, as part of efforts to ease overload in medical establishments and reserve beds for serious cases.

On November 13, the ministry reported 1,032 new infection cases and two deaths in the past 24 hours, including 1,018 in the community. Vientiane still recorded the highest number of infections with 409 community cases.
