The Japanese group worked with leaders of Hoa Binh Province on October 23 to discuss the preparation for the project while suggesting that the province facilitate the implementation of investment procedures, planning adjustments, and power and water supply.

The investor is anticipated to rent a total area of 9.2ha of land and infrastructure from Da Hop JSC at the Da River Left Bank Industrial Park to construct the 200-million-USD plant.

At the working session, Secretary of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long pledged to support the group in the implementation of administrative procedures and create favourable conditions for the group to invest in the province.

Meiko has invested in building three plants for the manufacture of electronic circuit boards and assembly of electronic printed circuit boards (PCB) in Vietnam, worth a total of 500 million USD, creating jobs for more than 7,000 workers, and contributing around 30 million USD to Vietnam’s budget.
