At the invitation of Chairman of the Lao National Assembly (NA) and ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Saysomphone Phomvihane, Chairman of the NA Tran Thanh Man is leading a high-ranking NA delegation to pay an official visit to Laos and attend the 45th General Assembly of the AIPA (AIPA-45) from October 17-19. This marks Tran Thanh Man‘s first official visit to Laos and participation in the AIPA General Assembly as the chairman of the NA.

Bringing relations between Vietnam and Laos and Cambodia into a new stage of development

President To Lam will take a three-day trip to pay state visit s to Laos and Cambodia from July 11-13. The visits come at the invitations of Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President of Laos , and Cambodian King Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni. This marks the first foreign visit of President To Lam in his new position.

New chapter in relations with South Pacific partners

At the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse will attend the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Australia dialogue relations and pay official visits to Australia and New Zealand from March 5 to 11.

At the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is leading a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to attend the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation and bilateral activities in Japan from December 15-18.  On the occasion, PM Pham Minh Chinh will also attend the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) Summit, which will be chaired by the Japanese Prime Minister.
