At the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is leading a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to attend the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation and bilateral activities in Japan from December 15-18.  On the occasion, PM Pham Minh Chinh will also attend the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) Summit, which will be chaired by the Japanese Prime Minister.

At the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will pay an official visit to Vietnam from December 11-12. This will be Prime Minister Hun Manet’s first official visit to Vietnam as head of the Cambodian government.

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will attend the first Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Parliamentary Summit as well as pay a working visit to Laos from December 4 - 7 and an official visit to Thailand from December 7 - 12, at the invitation of his respective Lao and Thai counterparts — Saysomphone Phomvihane and Wan Muhamad Noor Matha. 

At the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Cambodian National Assembly President Samdech Khuon Sudary will pay an official visit to Vietnam from November 30 to December 2.

At the invitation of the governments of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with his spouse and a Vietnamese high-ranking delegation will attend the COP28 Climate Change Conference, engage in some bilateral activities in the UAE, and pay an official visit to Turkey from November 29 to December 3.

At the invitation of the Japanese State, President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse is paying an official visit to Japan from November 27-30. This is the first official visit to Japan by President Thuong as Head of State of Vietnam and marks an important highlight in the year in which the two countries are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties (1973-2023).

At the invitation of US President Joe Biden, Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong, his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will attend the APEC Summit and take part in bilateral activities in the US from November 14-17.

At the invitation of Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and his spouse are paying an official visit to Vietnam from November 1-5.

Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong will attend the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing from October 17-20 at the invitation of Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

At the invitations of Speaker of the Bangladeshi Parliament Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury and President of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Rosen Zhelyazkov, Chairman of Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue is paying official visits to Bangladesh and Bulgaria from September 21-26.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will lead a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, to attend the General Debate of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, conduct bilateral activities in the US and pay an official visit to Brazil from September 17-26. The PM's visit to Brazil is made at the invitation of President Lula da Silva.  

At the invitation of the Chinese Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led a Vietnamese delegation to attend the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China, from September 16-17. This is an important foreign activity, demonstrating the importance of both countries for Vietnam-China relations and ASEAN-China cooperation.

The official visit to Vietnam by President of the House of Councillors of Japan Otsuji Hidehisa takes place in the good development period of Vietnam – Japan relations and in the year when the two countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties (1973-2023).

Seventy-eight years ago, after the great victory of the August Revolution, on September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh delivered the Declaration of Independence, marking the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The August Revolution is a glorious milestone in Vietnamese history. Seventy-eight years ago, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, our people simultaneously rose up in the great August Revolution to topple the colonial and feudal regimes, seize power, and establish the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the first people’s democratic country in Southeast Asia.

At the invitation of Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives and President of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Puan Maharani and Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Assembly Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue will attend the 44th General Assembly of the AIPA (AIPA-44) and pay official visits to Indonesia and Iran.

President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse are paying an official visit to Austria, a State visit to Italy and a visit to the Vatican, at the invitation of President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, President of Italy Sergio Mattarella, and Pope Francis.

At the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, President of the National Council of Switzerland Martin Candinas is paying an official visit to Vietnam from June 27-30. The visit demonstrates Switzerland's respect for Vietnam and is also an important parliamentary diplomacy activity as it resumes high-level delegation exchanges between the two countries following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 5th session of the 15th National Assembly took place at a time when the country has achieved important accomplishments but is also facing many challenges and difficulties, requiring the efforts and determination of the whole political system and people from all walks of life.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is paying an official visit to China and attending the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Tianjin, China from June 25-28. The trip is made at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab. The coming trip to China by PM Pham Minh Chinh is his first official visit there and also the first of its kind by a Government leader of Vietnam in seven years.

President of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Yoon Suk Yeol and his spouse are paying a state visit to Vietnam from June 22-24 at the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong. This is the first State visit to Vietnam by the RoK President, and Vietnam is also the first Southeast Asian country that the leader has visited since he took office in May 2022.

At the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, President of Côte d’Ivoire's National Assembly Adama Bictogo is lead a high-ranking delegation of the West African country on an official visit to Vietnam from June 13-16.

75 years ago, on June 11, 1948, President Ho Chi Minh issued the call for patriotic emulation, officially launching the patriotic emulation movement throughout the country.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is paying an official visit to Vietnam from June 3 to 4 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The visit, which is the first official visit to Vietnam by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese since taking office, takes place as Vietnam and Australia are celebrating their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations (1973-2023).

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is leading a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam to attend the expanded summit of the Group of Seven (G7) and pay a working visit to Japan, at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart Kishida Fumio.
