Nhan Dan Newspaper opens booth at L’Humanité Festival 2022

Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper opened a booth at the 87th L’Humanité Newspaper Festival (2022) in the city of Plessis-Pâté, in the southern suburbs of Paris, France, on September 9.

The event was attended by Politburo member of the French Communist Party Denis Rondepierre, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang, Lao Ambassador to France Kham-Inh Khitchadeth, member of the Nhan Dan Newspaper editorial board Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, representatives of L'Humanité newspaper, Vietnamese representative agencies, representatives of French-Vietnamese associations, and a large number of French and international friends.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, as head of the Nhan Dan Newspaper delegation attending the newspaper festival, expressed her joy at the atmosphere of the traditional festival, full of pride and excitement of French communists, workers and labourers.

She emphasised that, on every journey that has passed, Vietnam has always received sympathy, sincere contributions and active support from the members of the French Communist Party and French friends, as well as the international community. The solidarity, friendship and precious sentiments are always remembered and respected by the Vietnamese people.

Nguyen Thi Thu Ha expressed her belief that the French Communist Party would continue to assert its position in the political life of France, making further important contributions to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member of the French Communist Party (PCF) Denis Rondepierre highlighted the friendship and solidarity between the two peoples, as well as between the communist parties of Vietnam and France.

The newspaper festival is an opportunity for the French Communist Party to show the spirit of fighting for peace and international solidarity, which is also a precious spirit that Vietnam always strives to promote.

Denis Rondepierre said that the presence of the Vietnam pavilion at the annual L'Humanité Press Conference is of great significance in strengthening the solidarity between the two parties and peoples as well as the friendship between the two countries.

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang appreciated the efforts of the French Communist Party in maintaining the tradition of the newspaper festival to promote the spirit of solidarity, friendship and sharing of good values ​​among countries.

Also at the opening ceremony, delegates observed a minute of silence in memory of Raymonde Dien, a member of the French Communist Party who was a symbol of revolutionary heroism and noble proletarian internationalism, and a French friend of Vietnam.

At the International Village of the newspaper festival, the Nhan Dan Newspaper booth introduced French and international friends to information about President Ho Chi Minh, the Communist Party of Vietnam, outstanding achievements of Vietnam, the country and its people, as well as press publications of Vietnam.
