>>> Vietnamese, Russian PMs hold talks in Moscow
As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper correspondents residing in Russia, the activity was part of PM Phuc’s agenda during his ongoing official visit to the country.
The flower offering ceremony was also attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh, Russian friends in the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Association and the Russian Veterans’ Association, and representatives of the Vietnamese community and Vietnamese students in Russia.
Paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Moscow’s monument, PM Phuc and his entourage expressed their gratitude and reverence for the late leader, who was also a great friend of the Russian people, laying the foundation for the traditional friendship between the two countries.
In the solemn atmosphere, the visiting PM, his wife and all participants spent a minute of silence to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the eminent leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the hero of national liberation and a key figure of the world communist movement.
PM Phuc also joined Russian delegates and friends to visit and watered the memorial tree that he planted in the Ho Chi Minh Square area in Moscow in 2016.
