During the 2022-2023 dry season, team K92 of the provincial Military Command sent officers and soldiers to the Cambodian provinces of Koh Kong and Kampot to search and unearth remains.

A memorial and re-burial service for the remains will be held at the provincial martyrs' cemetery, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27).

In addition, in the process of carrying out their task, team K92 also visited and presented 110 gifts to the administration and armed forces in Koh Kong and Kampot provinces, on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay Festival in 2023; and provided medical examinations and medicine for 68 people, etc.

These activities have helped foster the close relationship and solidarity between the two countries in general and between Kien Giang, Koh Kong and Kampot provinces in particular.
