The plant, contracted to operate for 43 years, will include offices, factories, sewage treatment facilities as well as other necessary constructions and is to be built inside the Luong Son Industrial Zone.
Expected to become fully operational by this November, the plant will produce 120 million units per year, contributing around VND11 billion annually to the province’s budget. It will also create jobs for approximately 600 local workers.
At the signing ceremony, Hoa Binh provincial leaders welcomed HNT Electronics Company and other RoK businesses investing in Luong Son Industrial Zone, urging the RoK investor to accelerate the project’s progress whilst ensuring the interests of local workers and complying with the provisions of Vietnam’s laws.
The province’s authorities also requested the management board of the industrial zone to create favourable conditions, particularly in administrative procedures, in order to facilitate foreign-invested business operation in the locality.
Luong Son Industrial Zone is advantageously placed in terms of its geographical position and also the reasonable incentive policies for business investment on offer. The Zone expects to welcome four additional investors in 2014.
