Russian media covers Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s first visit to Vietnam

Right after the executive aircraft carrying Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin landed at Noi Bai International Airport on the evening of January 13 (Moscow time), Russian media continuously updated and reported extensively on his official visit to Vietnam, taking place from January 14 to 15.

Channel One Russia broadcasted the news of the welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the airport, highlighting that his two-day visit would be packed with activities, focusing on issues of cooperation in fields such as economics, trade, culture, and humanitarian affairs.

Under the title "Prime Minister Mishustin makes official visit to Vietnam", the TASS news agency emphasised that Prime Minister Mishustin and the Russian Government delegation were warmly welcomed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi.

The Russian news agency reported that accompanying Prime Minister Mishustin on this visit to Vietnam were two Deputy Prime Ministers – Dmitry Chernyshenko and Alexey Overchuk, along with the Ministers of Finance Anton Siluanov, Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev, Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov, and Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova.

Meanwhile, RIA Novosti reported that upon his arrival, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was greeted by Minister-Chairman of Vietnamese Government Office Tran Van Son, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi, and Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Gennady Bezdetko.

Izvestia posted photos and videos of the welcoming ceremony for Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at Noi Bai Airport, attended by delegates from both countries and an honour guard. Additionally, a number of other Russian news agencies and media outlets also reported on the event, providing images and videos.
