The seminar commences a series of events towards "The first Vinh Phuc Innovation Start-up Festival 2022", with the desire to develop science, technology and innovation, promote growth, and improve provincial competitiveness.
At the same time, the events also aim to create a favourable environment to promote and support the process of forming and developing fast-growing businesses based on exploitation of intellectual property, technology and new business models; advise and perfect the legal system to support innovative start-ups; and improve the capacity of actors in the innovation start-up ecosystem of Vinh Phuc Province.
Speaking at the seminar, Luong Van Long, Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Department of Science and Technology, said that Vinh Phuc Province has always been determined to take science and technology and innovation as the foundation for development.
Pham Hong Quat, Director of the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises, highly appreciated the human resources and young intellectual resources in Vietnam in general and Vinh Phuc in particular.
However, Vietnam still does not have many models to support the connection and training of young human resources in new business, new technology. Therefore, Pham Hong Quat hopes that Vinh Phuc would be willing to pioneer breakthrough piloting with some typical models for local application. At the same time, it offers suggestions to help develop and connect the network of innovative start-up ecosystems in Vinh Phuc, turning Vinh Phuc from an industrial province to a leading innovation-linked technology province in the country.
Within the framework of the workshop, the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises and the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Phuc Province signed a cooperation agreement on supporting start-ups and innovation enterprises in Vinh Phuc Province, promoting the start-up and innovation complex in Vinh Phuc Province.
