The Viet Nam Ao Dai Cultural Association’s Dak Lak Provincial Branch Association has recently held its launch ceremony, attended by Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, creating an additional space to connect ao dai enthusiasts, artisans, artists, designers and the community in the journey of preserving and creating, and bringing traditional cultural values into contemporary life.
Inspired by their love for Hue's culture, fashion designer couple Hoang Kim Ngoc Uyen Nhi, born in 1992, An Cuu Ward, Hue City, have incorporated imperial motifs and images of historical monuments into linen Ao Dai.
The final round of the “Mrs Ao Dai Europe 2026” pageant took place at the central theatre in Karlovy Vary, the Czech Republic in the evening of June 6 with the participation of a large number of Vietnamese expatriates and international guests, creating a vibrant celebration of Vietnamese culture in the heart of Europe.

More than a traditional costume of refined beauty, the ao dai is a unique cultural language of Vietnamese women in diplomacy. Through the programme “Female diplomats with Vietnamese ao dai” held in Ha Noi, the public had the chance to admire images of elegance, confidence and the profound Vietnamese identity embodied in this attire.
Viet Nam made a striking impression at the CelebrASIA Festival, the largest Southeast Asian cultural celebration in the UK, with captivating performances that highlighted the vibrancy and richness of the Vietnamese culture, drawing admiration and attention from international friends.
The graceful and flowing “ao dai”, a symbol of Viet Nam’s traditional beauty, served as a bridge connecting overseas Vietnamese (OVs) in Slovakia with their homeland, and contributed to promoting Vietnamese culture to local people.
