The 15th National Assembly (NA) adopted seven important laws spanning science and technology, atomic energy, rail transport, banking regulation, mass organisations, military defence, and criminal procedure during its plenary session on June 27.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said the banking system plays the role as arteries of the economy while addressing a meeting with chairpersons and CEOs of commercial banks in Hanoi on October 16.
