More than 3,400 administrative procedures and business conditions have been cut or simplified thanks to the Government's decisive measures.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung recently ordered ministries and agencies to immediately cut at least 30% of administrative procedures, 50% of processing time, 50% of compliance costs and 30% of business conditions, while eliminating all unnecessary procedures.
In Document No. 3905/VPCP-CDS, addressed to the ministries of Public Security, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, and Justice, the Government Office said that on April 29, the Government issued eight resolutions focused on cutting, decentralising and simplifying administrative procedures and business requirements across sectors managed by 14 ministries and agencies.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang has instructed the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) to urgently review and incorporate feedback from relevant ministries to finalise plans to decentralise administrative procedures, halve compliance costs and processing time, and eliminate all unnecessary business conditions.
Implementing major resolutions of the Politburo and the Government on institutional reform, the Ministry of Finance is rolling out a coordinated programme to cut business conditions and simplify administrative procedures, aiming to reduce compliance costs and time, improve the investment and business climate, and promote sustainable growth.
