Digital Finance Day 2026 with the theme “Smart payments driving digital finance” officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City on June 6.

At the 32nd APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting (FMM 2025) in the Republic of Korea (RoK), Viet Nam reaffirmed its commitment to making effective contributions as an active member working towards the stability and shared prosperity of the APEC region.

The 15th National Assembly officially passed the Law on Digital Technology Industry at its 9th session on June 14, 2025. For the first time, the concepts of digital assets and tokenised assets have been legally defined. This milestone is considered a crucial legal framework that paves the way for the development of the digital financial market in Viet Nam.
