Global gold prices plunged on August 11 after reversing course, trading at 4,347.8 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and gold rings fell by a total of 2 million VND per tael, with buying and selling prices standing at 140.5-143.5 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices edged down on August 10, trading at 4,347.4 USD per ounce following impressive gains last week. Domestically, SJC gold bar and ring prices also declined, with selling prices of 144.1 million VND per tael and 143.6 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices climbed sharply on August 6, reaching their highest level in a month at 4,276.5 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars also posted strong gains, with buying and selling prices quoted at 139.7 million VND and 142.7 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices rose modestly on August 3 to 4,062 USD per ounce, recovering after a week of losses as the US dollar strengthened. In the domestic market, gold prices across major brands were unchanged, with buying and selling prices holding at 137 million VND and 141 million VND per tael, respectively.

World gold prices on July 31 increased to 4,053.5 USD per ounce amidst a strengthening US dollar and persistently high interest rates putting pressure on the precious metal. Domestically, SJC gold bar prices continued to rise, with buying and selling prices at 137.9 million VND per tael and 141.9 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices rose to 4,091.5 USD per ounce on July 27. In the domestic market, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 1.5 million VND per tael, with buying and selling prices quoted at 139 million VND and 143 million VND per tael, respectively.

Domestic gold prices increased on July 25 in line with gains in global markets. SJC‑branded gold bars rose 0.71% to 141.5 million VND per tael, while gold rings were quoted at 141 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices continued their strong upward trend on July 22, rising to 4,119.1 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices also increased, with buying and selling prices quoted at 142 million VND and 146 million VND per tael, respectively.

World gold prices rebounded on July 21 thanks to bargain buying after a sharp decline, trading at 4,064.1 USD/ounce. Domestically, the SJC gold bar and ring prices remained almost unchanged from the previous trading session, listed at 146.4 million VND/tael and 145.4 million VND/tael, respectively.
