On 7 September, Team K76 under the Dong Nai City Military Command discovered and repatriated four sets of martyrs’ remains, together with their personal artefacts, at the site of the former Loc Ninh military airfield in Loc Ninh Ward.
The Government has issued Resolution No. 255/NQ-CP on building an urgent construction project to extend the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line to Dong Nai City’s administrative centre and Long Thanh International Airport.
Digital transformation in the Southern border areas, in line with Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, has created new momentum for socio-economic development, the building of an all-people border defence posture, the consolidation of national defence and security, improvements in people’s livelihoods, and the development of modern local administrations.
On July 25, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, attended a ceremony launching the search and repatriation of martyrs’ remains in Minh Duc Commune, Dong Nai City.
Dong Nai City simultaneously broke ground on July 10 on three road projects, including the upgrading and expansion of Road 769 and the construction of two new routes, Roads DT770B and DT773. The three projects, with a combined length of more than 111km, will directly connect National Highways 1, 51, and 56 with Long Thanh International Airport, Ring Road 4-Ho Chi Minh City, and many other key transport routes across the city.
In recent years, a wide range of initiatives targeting the border areas of Dong Nai City have been implemented, contributing to improved livelihoods and fostering socio-economic development. These efforts have generated additional resources, strengthened internal capacity in frontier regions, and helped build a robust people-based defence posture, thereby safeguarding national sovereignty and border security.
According to data from the Viet Nam Customs Department, in 2025, Viet Nam’s total export turnover of cashew kernels exceeded 5.4 billion USD, exporting to 112 countries and territories. This further affirmed Viet Nam’s position as the world’s leading exporter of cashew nuts, accounting for 80% of the global export market share.
