Any e-commerce platform offering livestream sales must publicly disclose its livestream operation regulations, according to Government Decree No. 248/2026/ND-CP.

Exports through e-commerce platforms, particularly via the B2C model, are emerging as a strategic pathway for Viet Nam. This channel not only broadens market access but also enables businesses to connect directly with global consumers.

Currently, more than 90% of Vietnamese children use the internet — equivalent to around 15 million “digital citizens” growing up with smartphones, social media, and AI algorithms. This group represents both a large potential consumer segment and a population at high risk of legal and safety violations on social media if not properly protected and guided.
