Ha Noi has put into operation 10 electric bus routes with a total of 288 vehicles from April 1, marking a significant step in the capital city’s roadmap to develop greener public transport.

Ho Chi Minh City plans to replace its bus fleet with electric buses by 2030, as part of its efforts to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

As many as 443 electric buses will be put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City since August 1, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and attracting more passengers, thereby accelerating the shift to "green, clean" public passenger transport.
