The Centre for Overseas Labour (Colab) under the Ministry of Home Affairs quoted a notification from the Ministry of Employment and Labour of the Republic of Korea (RoK) showing that the quota for the intake of foreign workers under the E-9 visa category within the RoK’s Employment Permit System (EPS) programme in 2026 will be 80,000 people, down 38.5% compared to 2025 (130,000).
