PM pledges green growth, urges EU members to ratify EVIPA

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reaffirmed the Vietnamese Government's commitment to rapidly resolving obstacles for foreign investors and welcomed European firms to join the country’s high-growth, green transition agenda during a working session with the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) and the European Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (EuroCham) on November 27.

Viet Nam, Germany enhance parliamentary diplomacy cooperation

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on National Defence, Security and External Relations Nguyen Manh Tien has proposed that Germany actively support and accelerate the Federal Parliament’s ratification of the EU–Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) at the earliest possible time, turning it into a true symbol of the long-term and sustainable partnership between the EU and Viet Nam.

Vietnamese PM meets President of Estonian Parliament

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with President of the Riigikogu (the Parliament of Estonia) Lauri Hussar on June 5 afternoon (local time) as part of his ongoing official trip to Estonia, during which the latter affirmed Viet Nam as an important partner of the Baltic nation in the Southeast Asian region.
