It marks the return of a son or daughter to the Fatherland and to his/her family, the restoration of a missing chapter of history, and a reaffirmation of the country's enduring tradition of remembering those who served the nation.

Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Head of the National Steering Committee for Search, Collection, and Identification of Martyrs' Remains launched the “500-Day-and-Night Campaign to intensify the search, collection and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains” at the Special National Relic Site of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel on April 2.
