Bui Thi Minh Hoai, President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, on December 4 received 500,000 USD in relief aid from the Chinese Government, delivered through the Chinese Embassy in Viet Nam, to support flood-hit communities.

State President Luong Cuong on November 18 visited and encouraged residents in areas affected by floods, on the occasion of his attendance at the Great National Unity Festival in Go Noi commune in the central city of Da Nang.

The first sum of over 3.75 billion VND was handed over on October 24 to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee to provide immediate support to victims of Typhoons Bualoi and Matmo, while the second sum of 420 million VND will be transferred in the coming days.

A nationwide campaign was launched by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee on October 3, calling on young people to support residents severely affected by Typhoon Bualoi, or locally known as Storm No. 10.
