Representatives of relevant agencies and units proposed studying mechanisms and creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese contractors to strengthen their capabilities and gradually take on the role of general contractor or EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) general contractor for large-scale projects during a recent meeting between Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc and the Viet Nam Association of Construction Contractors.
